Paper Shop Putinki - From Love to Paper.

We are Paperikauppa Putinki - a treasure trove of paper products full of modern nostalgia. We hope that our products invite you to the brink of creativity, inspire you to try something new, work to support you in your studies, work life and in organizing your everyday life, and above all, bring joy to your life and that of your loved ones.

Putinki is a small company and a close working community, and we are united by our love for paper. We have been a pioneer in paper products since 1973.

We design our products together with Finnish artists and brands and strive to manufacture the products responsibly in carefully selected factories. We have our own in-house graphic artists who conjure up wonderful paper and gift products from the illustrations of artists and brands, which we are happy to sell to customers.

We constantly strive to expand and develop our selection and act as a distributor for several Finnish paper industry entrepreneurs, and we also import products from abroad.

In Finland, our products are sold by approximately 750 retailers. We also have four of our own, absolutely lovely Putinki stationery stores in Helsinki: Töölö, Hakaniemi, Korkeavuorenkatu and Arabia.

In connection with the Arabia store, there is also a letterpress studio, where we make handmade cards and bookmarks with our own printing machines. The most popular of the letterpress cards are especially the captivating quotes familiar from the Moomin books. For paper fans from Helsinki, our letterpress products are local production at its best, and what's best: letterpress work with traditional Heidelberg presses can also be watched from behind the glass on weekdays.

In particular, we love cards and we can proudly say that Putinki cards are completely domestic, that is, designed and manufactured in Finland. In addition, we import stylish and high-quality English-language cards from around the world.

Our selection of cards is very wide and covers the entire life cycle, from baby to bereavement.

The cards have been lovingly chosen and they are all intentionally very different in style, personal and unique, just like us humans. Those moments are very special to us, when we find a card from our selection that matches the customer's exact wishes - just the perfect one!

But we are also much more than a card shop. Our selection currently includes weekly diaries, calendars, notebooks, notebooks,

packaging supplies, puzzles, games, party supplies, reflectors, posters, magnets, cloth bags, office supplies, stickers, pens, and craft and art supplies.

Puting's story: It all started in the market hall

Puting's story began in 1973 in Hakaniemi's shopping hall. The core of the product selection then consisted of Kirsti Jantunen's painted enamelware, wooden jewelry and antiques. What was new and exceptional was that most of the items were recycled. Soon, the sale of cards and stationery also started, and with their success, Kirsti's husband Martti also moved to work in Putinki. The Jantuses developed and raised Putinki together until the 21st century.

Here's an interesting detail about Puting's history: In the early 80s, the Jantuste family ran a paper shop for a few years as well as a vegetarian tea room, which was not very common at that time. The Jantuses have therefore been real pioneers of their time.

Over the years, Putinki has grown into a paper industry company employing around twenty people, and we serve both consumers and retailers.

In Puting's production, important values for us are domestic design, diversity, equality, responsibility, quality and manufacturing products as closely as possible. Putinki cards are produced locally in Helsinki, and calendars, notebooks and notebooks of our own production are produced by our carefully selected partners in Tallinn and Latvia.

We are happy to cooperate with many talented domestic illustrators and companies such as Henna Adel, Mira Mallius, Kaisu Sandberg, Johanna Ilander, John Nurminen Säätiö, Moomin Characters, Polka Paper, Konsta Punkka, Teemu Järvi, Sari's Artwork, Sirkku Saukonoja and Pentik .

In addition to our own production, we import high-quality paper products and represent many well-known brands in Finland, such as Cavallini, Paperblanks, Pickmotion and Interdruk .
