Accessibility statement – ​​Putinki.fi 

This accessibility statement applies to the service Putinki.fi , owned by Putinki Oy, and was prepared on June 25, 2025. The statement is based on self-assessment and the technical implementation of the online store on the Shopify platform. 

 

Website accessibility 

Our goal is for the Putinki.fi online store to be accessible to all users, including people with disabilities. The site strives to meet the AA level requirements of the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 . 

 

Accessibility status 

The website partially meets WCAG 2.1 level AA requirements. 

 

Known accessibility deficiencies: 

Although every effort has been made to design the website to be accessible, the following shortcomings may occur: 

  1. Color contrasts can be challenging in some areas (for example, in campaign banners or old product images ). 

  1. Some images on the site may be missing alternative texts (alt texts). 

  1. There may be limitations on keyboard usage for third-party plugins (e.g. chat and payment services). 

  1. Some form error messages don't have clear enough feedback for screen readers. 

  1. The language attribute may be missing from some embedded content or components. 

These shortcomings are being actively addressed through technical updates and continuous testing. 

 

Measures to improve accessibility 

  1. The website's user interface primarily uses colors and font sizes that are compatible with WCAG 2.1 AA level. 

  1. Image alt texts are constantly updated. 

  1. A theme that follows Shopify's accessibility guidelines is used, and accessibility updates to the theme are implemented regularly. 

  1. The accessibility of third-party applications and plugins is assessed and replaced as necessary.

  1. Systematic project and monitoring of accessibility deficiencies in July 2025. 

  1. The external evaluation is planned to be completed by the end of 2025.
