Responsibility

Putinki Art is part of the Lehtipiste Group, owned by Tradeka. Responsibility is a key part of Tradeka's business, and thus also Putinki Art's business. The goal of our responsibility work is to further develop the responsibility practices of our entire industry.

As a company engaged in the import and trade of art and craft supplies, as well as paper and gift products, the most significant social and environmental impacts of our business arise from the manufacturing and transportation of the products we sell. For art supplies and craft products, we rely on internationally recognized brands. For cards, we favor local production and work closely with domestic illustrators.

We are continuously seeking ways to reduce the carbon footprint of our procurements and are developing the transparency of our product information and supply chain management in close cooperation with our partners.

Responsibility in the Lehtipiste Group

The focus of our group's responsibility work is on measures aimed at reducing the carbon footprint of transportation. In addition, we invest in reducing plastic and increasing the amount of recycled materials, as well as social and financial responsibility.

The most significant emission sources of our carbon footprint are related to transportation and the products we sell. We are working determinedly to reduce these impacts. To assist us in this work, we have prepared a climate roadmap with concrete emission reduction measures.

A well-being staff plays an essential role in achieving the responsibility goals we have set. Listening to employees, ensuring occupational safety, employee benefits, and a pleasant working environment are central to creating and maintaining well-being.

Our strong goal is to conduct profitable business, also investing in growth. This way, we ensure jobs for the future as well.

As a guideline for our daily work, we have created common ethical guidelines, which concern each of us. Through our owner Tradeka's whistleblowing channel, feedback can also be given regarding the operations of Lehtipiste or its subsidiaries if suspected of being contrary to Lehtipiste's ethical principles.

We report annually on the goals and achievements of our responsibility work in our owner Tradeka's annual and responsibility report. We require our partners to commit to our ethical guidelines, and we assess the responsibility of our supply chain as part of the procurement process.
