The Moomin by Skandino® spoutless training cup is designed to safely and naturally support a child's transition from a baby bottle to a regular cup. Manufactured in Liperi, Finland, the cup has been developed in collaboration with speech and occupational therapists to support the development of a child's oral motor skills and drinking abilities. Unlike traditional sippy cups, Skandino's spoutless training cup helps the child practice drinking from a regular cup at an early stage and supports the development of a natural swallowing pattern. The spoutless design does not strain oral motor skills in the same way as traditional sippy cups, the daily use of which many professionals worldwide no longer recommend. The cup has a removable lid, so it can also be used as a regular cup as the child grows.
