Liquitex Basics Gloss Gel is the perfect companion for acrylic painting and is suitable for use with all Liquitex products! Gloss Gel thickens the paint and adds texture and sheen to the color. This also makes brush and palette knife marks more visible. The agent also extends the drying time of the paint. Mix the paint with Liquitex Matte Gel for a satin finish. Gloss Gel can also be thinned with water if necessary. However, we recommend using the product sparingly, otherwise the result may be too hazy. The product is easy to use: mix the desired amount directly into the paint. Also available is Gloss Heavy Gel, which is a thicker version of traditional Gloss Gel.
