Liquitex Basics Gloss Heavy Gel is the perfect companion for acrylic painting and is suitable for use with all Liquitex products! Gloss Heavy Gel significantly thickens paint, adds texture, and increases the color's sheen. This also makes brushstrokes and palette knife marks more visible. The medium also extends the drying time of the paint. Mix the paint with Liquitex Matte Gel for a satin-like finish. Gloss Heavy Gel can also be thinned with water if necessary. However, we recommend using the product sparingly, otherwise, the result may be too hazy. The product is easy to use: mix the desired amount directly into the paint. A slightly lighter version, Gloss Gel, is also available.
